Joanne Kathleen Rowling or as known as J.K Rowling, was born in Bristol, July 13th 1965. She is a writer of a famous fantasy novel, Harry Potter. She is success to be the most famous novel writer and she is one of the richest woman in England by her writing. But, her struggle before success was very hard and tough. She faced so many trouble before she become a successful author.

She gratuated from Bachelor of Art, Exeter University. Then, she moved to Portugal at 1990, she was an english teacher. At Portugal, J.K Rowling married to journalist and they have one daughter, Jessica Isabel Rowling Arantes on 1993. But, their marriage wasn't long last, and they divorce after it.

After her divorce with her husband, being a single parent, she moved again to Edinburgh with her daughter and faced the problem to fill up their needs. During time of distress, she diagnose suffer clinical depression and meant to do suicide. Her clinical dpression also helped her made a character that we all now know, Dementor. Dark creatures that appeared at the third series, Prisoner of Azkaban. Then,she begin to write a book. She thought that her writing skill can be her way out from this difficult life. But, she didn't have any facility to do it. She only has an old typewriter instead of computer. She didn't have enough money to pay photocopy. So, she have to write down the same script, so that she can hand it over to a several publisher. But, every problem and difficulties that she faced, it helped and delivered her to more imagination for her writing. She also had the idea to write a book while she on the trip from Manchaster to London by train on 1990.

Her struggle wasm't stop there, she hand over her script to a several publisher, 12 publisher reject her script. After that 12nd publisher, finally the 13th publisher accept her script and start to market her book. Fortunately, J.K Rowling success sold Harry Potter and The Sorcerer Stone for about $4000.

She became the highlight on 1999 after three books of Harry Potter series took out 3 highest place in New York Times best-seller. July 2000, she published the 4th series: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, became the most bestseller among other series. Near summer 2000, the three series of Harry Potter: Harry Potter and The Sorcerrer Stone, Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secret, and Harry Potter and The Prisioner of Azkaban, already gained profit for about 480 million dollars. And the rest of the HArry POtter Series , Harry Potter and the Orde of Phoenix on 2003, and Harry Pottter and The Halfblood Prince on 2005, and Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows on 2007. Harry Potter Series also make into a movie, that sign this novel hardly success.

Because her hardwork and struggle. Her life as a famous Harry Potter's author make her became one of the richest woman in the world with her wealth aroud 1 billion dollar or same as 14,8 trillion rupiah on 2018. But, she never forgot her root. The profit from the books she donated to UK Comic Relief Charity. She also spare partially from her wealth to helped many social foundation, espescially institution that is do a research about Multiple Sclerosis, disease that took her mother's life on 1990.
